TORONTO, April 7, 2009. Reed Exhibitions, producers of JCK Events worldwide has announced that in 2009 JCK Toronto will spotlight upcoming trends and the fashion side of the fine jewellery market. Themed Business Focused, Fashion-Forward, JCK Toronto, a three-day trade show will take place from Sunday, September 9th to Tuesday, September 11th in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto.
Produced in partnership with the Canadian Jewellers Association, JCK Toronto will preview the hottest new finished jewellery and unique one-of-a-kind signature pieces that will stock retail display cases for the upcoming holiday season. This annual industry gathering, the largest of its kind in Canada, will bring together sellers of fine jewellery with manufacturers and distributors of fine jewellery for three days of trend-spotting, buying, education and networking.
JCK Toronto's heightened focus on bringing attention to fashion-forward, one-of-a-kind jewellery will be represented throughout the trade show floor, in the JCK Design Centre and during the JCK Fashion Show. "Retailers have told us that today's fashion-savvy customers are more interested in custom jewellery and unique one-of-a-kind pieces" said John McGeary, JCK Toronto Show Manager. The JCK Design Centre is a dedicated area on the trade show floor that will showcase the work of jewellery designers. Retailers looking to energize their inventory with one-of-a-kind designs will be able to discover a diverse array of designs.
The JCK Fashion Show, sponsored by Nouvo Mode International, is a unique and interactive environment where jewellery will be showcased alongside fashion.
